連合王国の口蹄疫：常設委員会がコントロール措置を2事例周辺の監視地域に限定する欧州委員会の決定案を支持
【23日・欧州委員会発表】常設食物連鎖動物衛生委員会は、本日、連合王国代表による口蹄疫の最新状況報告を承けて、現在大ブリテン島全土に発令されている生存中の動物・食肉・酪農製品の輸出についての制限をサリー州における10キロメートルの監視地域に限定する欧州委員会決定案を、全会一致で支持した。これにより、決定が8月25日に施行されれば、サリー州の10キロメートルの監視地域を除いて、大ブリテン島からの生存中の動物・食肉・酪農製品の輸出を再開することができることになる。サリー州における口蹄疫の二つ目の発生事例（最後の発生事例）から2週間以上を経過し、加盟国は、本日、口蹄疫の発生のコントロールのために連合王国が講じた措置への支持（欧州委員会も協力した）を表明した。
