【31日・欧州委員会発表】8月の景況感指数（ESI）は、EUでほぼ変わらず、ユーロ圏で下落した。同指数は、EUで0.1ポイント下落して113.2ポイント、ユーロ圏で1.0パーセント下落して110.0ポイントとなった。もっとも、双方とも、今のところ指数は長期平均を十分に上回っている。
