2007年10月：EUとユーロ圏の双方において景況感がより緩やかに悪化
【31日・欧州委員会発表】10月の景況感指数は、EUとユーロ圏の双方においてさらに悪化した。先月の大きな低下に続いて、景況感指数は、EUで109.5、ユーロ圏で105.9となり、EUで1.1ポイント、ユーロ圏の1ポイントの穏やかな減少となった。もっとも、景況感指数は、EU・ユーロ圏ともに、依然として、長期平均を十分に上回っている。

EUの景況感指数の減少は、工業部門・建設部門・消費者の信頼感が僅かに減少した結果である。サービス部門においては、信頼感は安定しており、また、小売部門では信頼感が幾分改善された。ユーロ圏においては、部門ごとの動向の違いは僅かであるが、建設部門においては信頼感が2ポイントと減少幅が増加し、消費者の信頼感は安定している。
10月においては、大多数の国々が景況感の減少を報告した。大きな加盟国のうち、スペイン（-2.6）・英国（-2.3）においては、信頼感がで著しく悪化した。景況感の悪化は、ドイツ（-0.6）やポーランド（-0.9）では緩やかなものとなった。フランス（+0.1）およびイタリア（-0.2）では、景況感はほとんど変わらなかった。
