1人当たりGDP（購買力平価基準） 2006年の加盟国の1人当たりGDPはEU27平均の37％～280％
【17日・欧州統計局発表】2006年において、購買力平価基準で表現されたルクセンブルクの1人当たりGDPは、EU27平均の2.5倍以上だった。アイルランドの1人当たりGDPは、平均をほぼ5割上回った。オランダ、オーストリア、デンマーク、スウェーデン、ベルギーは、平均をおよそ2割から3割上回った。連合王国、フィンランド、ドイツ、フランスは、EU27平均を1割から2割上回り、スペイン、イタリア、ギリシアは、ほぼ平均だった。
キプロスとスロヴェニアはEU27平均を約1割下回り、チェコ共和国、マルタ、ポルトガルは、平均を2割から2割5分下回った。エストニア、ハンガリー、スロヴァキアは平均を約35パーセント下回り、リトアニア、ラトヴィア、ポーランドは、平均を4割から5割下回った。ルーマニアとブルガリアは、EU27平均を約6割下回った。
欧州統計局（欧州諸共同体統計局）によって公表された2006年・2005年・2004年のデータは、改訂された購買力平価と最新のGDP・人口統計に基づくものである。これは、EU加盟国27か国・加盟候補国3か国・EFTA加盟国3か国、西バルカン4か国を対象とするものである。
