テレコム：欧州委員会がブロードバンドの市場の競争を増強するベルギーのテレコム規制当局の新たな努力を支援、迅速かつ効果的な行動を要求
【3日・欧州委員会発表】欧州委員会は、本日、ベルギーのテレコム規制当局IBPT（ベルギー郵便電気通信機関、Institut Belge des services postaux et des télécommunications（アンスティテュ・ベルジュ・デ・セルヴィス・ポストー・エ・デ・テレコミュニカシオン））が、規制をより効果的なものとすることにより、ベルギー市場におけるブロードバンドの競争を促進する努力を最近行っていることにつき、認知した。〔その上で、〕欧州委員会は、本日送付された書簡において、持続可能なインフラベース競争を促進する目的で、エンドユーザにブロードバンドサービスを供給するために、新規参入者が旧独占事業者の市内ネットワークを使用できるとする規定（ローカル・ループ・アンバンドリング）を強化するよう要求した。また、欧州委員会は、IBPTが、エンドユーザ市場のブロードバンドサービスの競争の水準を精査するよう求めている。
