〔連合王国〕下院のバイオ燃料報告書に対するアンドリス・ピエバルクス委員（エネルギー担当）の声明

【21日・欧州委員会発表】欧州委員会のアンドリス・ピエバルクス委員（エネルギー担当）は、バイオ燃料の猶予（モラトリアム）を求める〔連合王国〕下院の報告書に対し、「欧州委員会は、既存のバイオ燃料政策の全体的な環境効果を否定的なものとしている英国下院環境監査委員会報告書の結論に、強く反対するものである。むしろ、バイオ燃料政策は、代替的選択肢である石油と比較して、著しい温暖化ガスの削減をもたらしているのである」と述べた。
