新化粧品規則が製品安全性を強化して官僚主義を削減
【5日・欧州委員会発表】欧州委員会は、化粧品に関する欧州の法令を簡素化し、3500ページ以上に亘る加盟国の指令転換国内法令を一本の単行規則に置き換える案件を提出した。1976年のEU化粧品指令は、55回もの改正により、用語に一貫性のない「パッチワーク」になってしまった。本日の規則案は、製品安全性を強化するとともに、企業のコストを削減することを目的とする。例えば、製品安全性評価の要件は明確化され、また、新たな化粧品に関する情報提供義務の簡素化により、企業の行政コストが50パーセント削減される。2009/2013年までの化粧品の動物実験の禁止と段階的廃止に関する既存の規定は、現行のままとする。
