「欧州情報通信産業が女性を求めている」！
【6日・欧州委員会発表】情報通信技術（ICT）におけるキャリアは男のものと考えられている節があるが、このようなステレオタイプは真実からかけ離れたものである。工学ないし計算機科学の卒業者における女性の割合はまだきわめて低いが、情報通信技術分野においては、若い女性がやりがいのある優れたキャリアを期待することができる。この話題は、国際女性デー（3月8日）に先立ち、本日ブリュッセルにおいて開催された会議の核心をなすものである。この会議において、欧州委員会は、欧州の若い女性が「日蔭から抜け出してITチャンス（opportunITy）を摑む」よう奨励する予定である。
